"Country Music should tell a simple story, something that average folk can relate to."
These are the sentiments of musician/songwriter/producer T.G. Duncan. Reared in the southern United States, Duncan was raised on a cantankerous mixture of rock ´n´ roll, blues, hard-core country and folk. Early influences like Buck Owens, Flatt & Scruggs, Johnny Cash and Vassar Clements collided with a taste for artists of the British invasion and other significant musical forces like The Byrds, The Eagles and Neil Young . Following in the tradition of the multi-instrumentalists, Duncan learned to play lead and rhythm acoustic and electric guitars, bass, keyboards, drums, banjo and pedal steel. He´s always been pretty good at just about anything he picks up. As a writer and producer, Duncan has a knack for pairing the right vocalist with the right song. Stints playing in various bands, writing for television and radio and producing other artists helped him hone his skills as a musician/songwriter and studio producer. Working from his own studio, RDR, T.G. Duncan writes and produces quality country music. His material combines topical storylines with catchy melodies and infectious musical hooks.
His work is contemporary and classic. It´s real country.
